hairtalkTV features this item

Step 1: Brush

Brush your hair away from your face.

Step 2: Clip In

Starting with your center clip, slide into hair about 1/4" from your hairline, then secure side clips.

Step 3: Style

Style, straighten, curl or brow dry - just as you would your own hair. Tru2Life fiber is heat friendly up to 350 degrees.

Tips:

  • Hair Tools are an essential part of making your bangs blend with your own hair. You may wish to use a flat iron or curling iron on your bangs prior to application, depending on your style preference. For optimal results, we recommend shampooing and conditioning before wearing.
  • Get more than one set. Have them cut into your favorite bang style - long, blunt, wispy, asymmetrical. The choice is yours!
  • Pair your new bang extensions with a set of human hair extensions for a dramatically different look

Cleaning the Human Hair
 Tip
Caring for your new hair product is easy, and you should treat your new product as an investment that you want to keep looking new and fresh for as long as possible. The correct care and maintenance will allow you to continue using the product with the best results for the longest amount of time. So, use the following instructions as a gauge for determining how and when you should wash and care for your products. And, know that you can always call 1-800-581-8206 and speak to a licensed cosmetologist for answers to all your questions.

Just like your own hair, human hair will accumulate residue through normal wear. However, you do not need to wash the hair everyday to keep consistent results. The hair should be washed as infrequently as possible or when you notice that the hair appears dull or acquires an odor. If you are wearing the hair all day, every day, you can wash them after 3-4 wearings.

Before shampooing, gently remove any tangles. If hair is excessively tangled, a spray on conditioner should be used.

Always use a mild shampoo or one specifically formulated for chemically treated hair.

Run the hair under warm water and after placing a small amount of shampoo on your fingers, gently work the shampoo into the hair, stroking downwards from the weft base to the ends. Do not twist, scrub or rub the hair. Use the shampoo sparingly.

When clean, rinse thoroughly under warm running water until the water runs clear. Be sure to rinse until all shampoo is removed, as improper rinsing could result in damage.

Just like your own hair, human hair extensions need to be conditioned after shampooing to maintain a healthy shine and promote styling ease.

Place a small amount of conditioner in your hand. Gently work into the hair and let sit for three to five minutes.

Rinse thoroughly in warm water.

Gently towel blot to remove excess water.

 Tip
After you have finished washing and towel blotting (drying) the hair, spray the hair with a leave-in conditioner before beginning to comb the hair. Starting at the ends, grasp the hair above the area you are combing and hold the hair firmly while moving a large toothed comb down from your grip towards the ends. When you have combed out all the tangles from the hair you are holding, release your grip and grab the hair closer to the top. Continue to comb the hair below your grip. Continue this method until all the hair is tangle-free. The key is to treat your hair as if it is on the head of a "Tender-Headed" person. By doing this, you create the least amount of tension that may result in hair breaking or pulling from the weft.

While wet, gently comb the hair to remove tangles. Using a large toothed comb, move in a downward motion away from the clips and to the ends. Do not use a bristle brush on wet hair as it may pull out or break the hair.

Hang to air dry, set in rollers, or use a blow dryer on a low setting, as desired.

If the hair is excessively dry, a "professional" conditioner may be necessary. Consult your stylist about this.

Styling the Hair

Steam rollers and/or wet setting are the safest way to curl your human hair.

Blow dryers, curling irons and other thermal tools may be used on low settings. Remember, the hair may scorch if the setting is too high.

If you choose to use electric rollers, always make sure that the ends are wrapped into the rollers to avoid "fishhooks".

For cutting, or any chemical processes such as perming or coloring, take the extensions to a professional stylist.

 Remember
Unlike your hair, this hair does not grow back if you cut it. So, remember to always take your new hair to a salon professional if you need it customized. This will give you the best results!

Storing the Hair

It is best to store the human hair in it's original container. However, you can store the hair in a plastic bag.

To keep the desired curl pattern, you may want to set the hair on rollers that conform to the curl size you wish to maintain before storing in plastic.

Do not sleep or swim while wearing the human hair.

I wish these came in R8/25!

These bangs are super cute! The only negative I have to say is that you might have to trim them up a bit to even them out! Other than that I love them and I just ordered a second pair for my sister!

THE HAIR COLOR IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT THEN WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE HERE.. I ORDERED THE R6/30 H. SINCE I HAVE DARK BROWN HAIR WITH HINTS OF RED, THIS COLOR LOOKED PERFECT. I WAS IMEDIATELY DISSAPOINTED ONCE I OPENED IT. THE COLOR IS WHAT I WOULD CALL-GOLD. THEY ONLY GIVE YOU 5 DAYS TO RETURN IT AND WE ALL KNOW HOW BUSY PEOPLE ARE THESE DAYS-I'M NOT ABOUT TO TAKE TIME FROM WORK TO GO HANDLE THAT.. THE WHOLE SITUATION WAS JUST ANNOYING. I'M OUT 40 DOLLARS.

I just got these in R14/88 and the color is perfect. My hair is a very light blonde. It did take some playing around with them to get the way that I wanted but they look really good and the side pieces blend with my hair. I have some thinning on the top of my hair due to thyroid and my natural bangs are very thin.. This has added a little more fullness. They were easy to clip in and to my surprise don't look unnatural. I plan to purchase more extensions.

Great video!

i recently purchased it in R2 since my natural haircolor is ebony black but i was disapointed when i tried it on, not because it looked bad it actually looked really good, but because the color was lighter than shown here which makes noticible.

I found these bangs to be the absolute perfect solution for wavy bangs and while I'm growing out my pixie cut. The piece is extremely easy to put on, it takes mere moments, and blends in perfectly. I dye my hair black, so I ordered the darkest color, R2. Unlike some black wigs, it doesn't look fake and costumey. It has subtle highlights. A friend of mine was staring at my head, because he could not believe it wasn't my natural hair!

Nice piece but I agree that the R6/30H color seemed pretty off. I have ordered other HairDo synthetic pieces in this color (both regular synthetic and heat friendly) and they are all different from each other. I even notice a difference when buying 'identical' pieces. It would be nice if the colors were more consistent. Sometime I have to order the Glazed Black Cherry to get closer to the R6/30H shade.

I wish they had these bangs in a reddish brown color.

The synthetic hair is very coarse and stiff. I bought the Chocolate Copper/Medium Brown combination since my natural hair is medium brown with redish highlights, but the color on the website is much, much darker than the actual color I received. The color I got was super light with lots of gold tone, not at all what the color code in the website showed. I should have ordered the color swatches so I could see what I was going to get. When I tried the bangs on, they looked totally fake and they are not soft or flexible so they didn't blend in well with my natural hair at all. You can't brush them to the side or even move them at all they are so stiff! Overall, a big disappointment.

Ladies you need to buy the color rings before choosing the color that best matches your hair

I think it looks really cute on and so simple to put on. I will agree the color is a little lighter then the pick, so I will get a shade darker.

I just received these bangs in the mail and i absolutely love them!! When I opened them, they felt so real--just like human hair. I was a little nervous purchasing them because of all the mixed reviews on how the color didn't match with their hair color at all, but if you have really really dark hair with brown undertones then R4 is the right color for you; it matched perfectly with my hair! I'm so excited and I can't wait to wear them out!!! They're so cute!!

I am an African American caramel color woman, and I was kinda iffy on these bangs. I got them at Ulta. I got the R6. They are a bit lighter in person. But it blended very well. My hair isnt very course...its more of in the middle of course and fine. The piece was alittle shiny but not much to where you can see the difference in my hair. My hair is a bit shiny. Hahaha. Other than that the piece is really pretty. Next time I might go a bit darker to R2. We shall see. So if there are any beautiful women of color who wants to try these pieces word of advice...

1. Make sure the piece is the correct color. (Picture may be deceiving) :)
2. Make sure that the piece matches the texture. (This may not work on fine hair or very course hair--mine is in the middle)
3. If it is shiny....add alittle baby powder (great tip)

Other than that...they are great...I plan on getting more of Jessica Simpson's line of clip-ins. Hope this helps anyone... :)
