Stylemaker Hairwrap by POP

With Stylemaker you can create so many different styles from a dressy to casual. Create elegant updos and chignons that are loose, textured and modern or tousled casual styles that work with any attire. Part of POP's FreeStyle collection, you can style - just as you would your own hair, using hair tools. The Tru2Life™ heat friendly synthetic fiber makes it easy to flat iron, curl or blow dry. Plus, it looks and feels like real hair. Tru2Life™ fiber can withstand heat from 240 to 350 degrees. You can easily take your Stylemaker from wavy to straight to create a more edgy look, using a (tempurature controled) flat iron. If you use a curling iron, be sure to hold the curl for approx. 60 seconds then clip and allow to cool, to set the curl in. The style stays locked in place until heat-styled again. Step 1: Prepare Your Hair

Gather your hair into a ponytail(s) or bun(s) and secure with a hair tie.

	Tip
Be creative! You do not have to limit yourself to one ponytail or one location. You can have as many ponytails as you wish in whatever location on your head you like.

Step 2: Apply the Hair Wrap

Loop the hair wrap around the ponytail you created.

Step 3: Create the Double Loop

Leaving your hair within the loop, pull the hair wrap and twist it once leaving your original ponytail in one of the loops with your fingers in the second loop. Using these fingers, pull your ponytail back through this second loop. Basically, you want to create a double loop around your ponytail, using the hair wrap.

Step 4: Finger Style Your Hair

Finger Style the hair wrap to create a spiky or curly puff of hair, depending on the hair wrap texture, that is great for a casual or formal event.

Cleaning Synthetic Hair

Tip

Caring for your new hair product is easy, and you should treat your new product as an investment that you want to keep looking new and fresh for as long as possible. The correct care and maintenance will allow you to continue using the product with the best results for the longest amount of time. So, use the following instructions as a gauge for determining how and when you should wash and care for your products. And, know that you can always call 1-800-581-8206 and speak to a licensed cosmetologist for answers to all your questions.

Just like your own hair, synthetic hair will accumulate residue through normal wear. However, you do not need to wash the synthetic hair everyday to keep consistent results. The fiber should be washed as infrequently as possible or when you notice that the fiber appears dull. If you are wearing the hair all day, every day, you can wash them after 4-6 wears.

Before shampooing, gently remove any tangles or teasing with your fingers or a pick comb. Do not brush. Pick the hair from the ends and work your way up.

Gently add a synthetic safe shampoo to the hair and use cool - never hot - water.

When rinsing the hair allow the water to flow from the roots to the ends (top to bottom). Do not soak the hair as this may cause matting and tangles.

Rinse thoroughly in cool water.

Dab gently with a towel to remove excess water. Do not squeeze or twist.

While still wet, spray with a leave in conditioner that is specifically formulated for synthetic hair goods.

Dry on a towel at room temperature.

Style with fingers or pick comb. Do not use a blow dryer or curling iron on synthetic hair.

With heat friendly synthetic fiber, Do not use a heating tool that exceeds 350 degrees. Keep setting between 250-275 degrees. Blow drying is not recommended.

Care Between Wear

Spray with a light mist of leave-in conditioner (specifically formulated for synthetic fiber) to keep your hair looking fresh and healthy.

Gently remove any tangles using your fingers or pick comb.

A water soluble hair spray may be used for a light hold.

Styling the Hair

	Remember
Blow dryers, curling irons and other thermal tools should not be used on synthetic fiber as the heat can melt the fiber.

Because the curl pattern (or lack of a curl pattern) is baked into the fiber, it is not necessary to set your synthetic hair after washing. However, if you wish, wet setting is the safest way to curl your hair.

You may want to have the hair custom cut to achieve your desired style. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CUT IT YOURSELF. Take your product to a salon professional.

Storing the Hair

It is best to store the synthetic hair in it's original container. However, you can store the hair in a plastic bag.

To keep the desired curl pattern, you may want to set the hair on rollers that conform to the curl size you wish to maintain before storing in plastic.

Do not sleep or swim while wearing the synthetic hair.

Not only does it blend well in hair, but easily gives the look of a professional style without the cost or the hassle. Author: Lydia Rodriguez I love this! All my friends told me that they look fake and stupid and not to get one. When I bought it and tried it on, they all said it looked super cute! The hair was soft and natural feeling. I did use a rubber band to tie my hair first and then the hair wrap over it to make sure it did not fall out and to make the hair wrap elastic last longer. Overall, i'm really happy with the product. My hair is medium brown with redish highlights so overall it looks like a medium to light brown color. I bought R10 (Chestnut) which is a bit too light. Next time i'm getting R6/30H (Chocolate Copper/Dark Chocolate w/Auburn Highlights) which I think will blend better. The color swatches on the website look a lot darker than what you actually get. Overall, i'm very happy with this purchase!

Author: Eileen Robben i just got the Stylemaker today. I have an up coming wedding to attend & didn't know what to do with my hair. I saw the video on this site for the stylemaker & that's what sold me. I bought 2. The color is spot on. I have dark brown hair so I got R6. My hair is also shoulder length & cut into layers.I did my hair a bunch of ways & it was so easy! They all looked great too. I did have to put a ponytail holder in first though. I felt it might fall out without some extra support. You can very easily make a casual style or a classy one. I will definitly buy more when I wear them out!

Author: M. Santa I bought the Stylemaker (for fun) and the expensive, 14"HH clip in extensions. OhMyGosh, I absolutely saved a few hundred bucks! I found that the $15.00 Stylemaker was much more classy, quick, versatile, better to blend, and exactly what I was looking for... The pricey clip-ins are going back. However the R6 in the HH matched perfect, I found in Synthetic the R10 matched better. I love, love, love, this product. I can wear it to the side, lower back, on-top (curled/straight). To keep it very secure, i start my hair w/ a small ponytail and add the Stylemaker-wrapped twice as noted and then i add 2 small no-slip clips by Goodie... works like a charm! I'm gonna buy 13 more of these for the price I paid for the HH extensions.

Author: Wendy Wow! I am so happy that I decided to add this to my order not expecting much for $15. I was so wrong! I thought that I was going to use this on "second day hair" when I didn't have time to wash and style, but I now use this wrap as much as possible - because it looks AMAZING. Not fake at all -- and super comfortable - which is hard to say for most extensions. I put my own hair in a small pony bun first and then add this wrap -- wrapped around twice. Super easy -- you can always leave the house looking polished in under 2 minutes! Thank you! Great product!
