Top Full 18" | Synthetic Hair Topper

This was my first foray into the world of toppers and wigs and I'm enjoying this so much! I cut my hair myself constantly (OCD? Nerves? I like change?), and usually that ends in disaster and very, very short hair. Shocking, right? Tried a few wigs that felt too fakey, so I bought this to hide the damage of a pixie (to put it nicely) cut. I snapped it on and then cut bangs and 6 inches off the back, sprayed it with dry shampoo, made some little piggies and it looks fairly natural and hides the mess I made of my bio hair. I'm wearing it more like a wig than a topper and I'm amazed I'm getting away with it (I think??). Sat out in the hot sun two days in a row and I didn't feel any hotter than normal. Thinking it will work until my hair grows back out a bit....

Was very excited to receive this topper, and extremely disappointed the moment I pulled it from the box.

The hairline does not look natural, and is so thin you can see the double monofilament through the piece at the front, making it look like you have obvious bald spots in your hair (see pic).

I didn't ever wear or use this piece, so I don't know how much dry shampoo would have helped, but I'll tell you this - when the topper arrived it was so shiny it looked like a cheap Halloween wig. I'm sending it back. Very disappointed.
