I’m a petite woman just starting my wig journey. I’ve always had short hair and my first bob-style wig is fun and was found in a local shop. I decided to go shorter and try a pixie from an online shop. I was NOT disappointed! And I’ve been a brunette my entire life so choosing Ice Blond was a risk! I'm getting so much support for my new look it’s off the charts! I also have Amara in Razberry Ice and it’s cute but, frankly, not as eye-catching as Ice Blond. Love it!

I love this boy cut pixie. Got her in Bubblegum-R and it didn't disappointment. Light pink can be seen according to the lighting and movement. Just enough to make it feminine and interesting. Easy to wear, easy to style. I even wear one to play pickleball in. Great fit, snug enough to not worry it may move when participating in physical activities.

I’ve been looking for a short pixie with a side swept bang, and—finally—this is it! What I like about Amara: 1) It’s very short at the nape. The hair barely touches my collar. 2) it’s a snug fit. When you bend your head forward, it doesn’t slide, flip up, or move off your neck at all. (I don’t worry about this wig at all when I’m sailing.) 3) Although it is a short wig, it still has that classic ROP profile with a tapered back and a little “poof” at the crown. 5) The bang. I love me a side swept bang! 6) The hair is nice and short around the ears. Usually I have to tuck the hair of every wig behind my ears, but not this one. 7) The color (Creamy Blond) is very neutral. I have cool undertones and look terrible in blonds that are yellow. This is definitely a platinum, but a slightly warm platinum—not white at all. Balanced. Neutral. What I don’t like about Amara: 1) Some of the layered hairs flip out a little in the back instead of laying straight with the rest. If I can’t tame them, I’m going to carefully clip them off. What some others might not like about Amara: 1) This style has a basic cap with perma-tease, no mono anything, and no lace front. It’s doesn’t have a ton of perma-tease but enough to keep the volume. Upon close inspection of the crown, your wig secret may be exposed. However, it’s no worse and probably better than most other wigs with basic caps. This is a rooted gray wig, which might seem odd, but the dark rooting adds depth to the gray color. It is a plain cap wig. There is no lace front. It fits my average size head fine, except for the occipital bone in the back. I might add a wig band to help with slippage in the back. I keep my thin bio hair in a buzz, which helps to hold my wigs on to my head, but the occipital bone still can cause problems. It can be styled "flat", or wavy, or I might try a more "messy" style. There is a LOT of hair--more than is indicated in the picture--it is thick.

I have this wig in Ice-Blond and really like it. The bangs were a little heavy for me, so I shortened and thinned them a bit. It is a great throw on wig, just fluff and go. It is a little big on me, would love it in petite. I'm trying to decide what other color to purchase.
