SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Welded Monofilament Base - The base is hand-knotted to create the appearance of natural hair growth, which allows for parting versatility, and is sheer to blend with all skin tones.
  • Polyurethane Perimeter - A polyurethane strip goes around the perimeter of the base and contains 4 pressure sensitive clips. The clips can be removed so that adhesive can be applied.
  • HD High Heat Synthetic Fiber - The ultra-fine HD fibers look and feel like human hair. Our recommendation for styling Heat Friendly fiber is to stay between 275° F-300° F for best results.

The roots of this topper are way darker than any other Jon Renau topper in the same color- I've tried two!

I love 'Malibu Blond' in my other Jon Renau hairpieces. It is a perfect mix of shades with natural looking roots. I have 2 other pieces in it. I ordered this 'EasyPart T' hairpiece in the heat resistant fiber, in shade 'Malibu Blond'. The first time, the roots were so DARK brown (and so long 2"), that I thought, surely the wrong tag has been put on this hair piece, maybe it is a mislabeled 'Shaded Praline' which comes with brown roots. So I ordered it again, in 'Malibu Blond' to exchange. NOPE, the second one came, and it is the same thing. The roots are DARK BROWN. I know Wigs.com cannot control what the manufacturers send them, but I hope they read this and compare the colors on say 'Malibu Blond' in a synthetic fiber Jon Reneau Zara, and the HD EasyPart T, then provide Jon Reneau with some feedback- that they need more quality control in the consistency of their hair color shades. There is a huge difference in the colors of the roots between the same named color from heat resistant T to regular synthetic Zara. both of these hairpieces are going back - I am debating trying a completely different color which is listed as having lighter roots, or just abandoning this hairpiece altogether and getting one that is not Heat resistant.

    I wanted to love, but…

I was so excited to see a new product from Jon Renau. JR is my go-to for all toppers and have never found a better quality elsewhere! The quality of the fibers in this product are no exception. However, I have some issues with the design. The cap is T-shaped which I like but if it’s t-shaped, shouldn’t the T sit in the middle on your head? I put it on with the T centered on my scalp and was very surprised at how much longer one side was than the other. Unless you get it cut, you could never use this as a center part piece. Which again, I thought would be due to the shape of the cap. The center clip if worn in the center doesn’t seem to lay flat very well (other JR front clip toppers are great). With the way it’s built, you have to wear it as a side part so the T is no longer centered. I just don’t get the logic. I don’t mind getting my toppers trimmed, but if I’m paying for the length, why would I want to cut inches off just to even it out when the design is intended to sit as a T-shape, centered on your head? Wearing it centered is completely out of the question out of the box. Expect to have to cut up to two inches from one side if you want to maintain the center part. Weird…

This has a lot of hair, maybe a little too much in the front because of the design the weight of the hair makes it almost “forcefully” fall forward. And I don’t have much of my own on the side so that’s saying a lot. It’s hard to clip in this design but will probably just take practice.

    Again, high…
