    Nice try

The Secret Topper is so pretty in the photos. I looked at it for months wondering if it would disquise my thinning areas. I examined the cap carefully. It looked different than other topper caps I've seen. I'm very thin on my sides so I thought this might be perfect. Once I opened the box, I was hooked on the color. (Rooted Bernstein) I loved it instantly. I tried it on with the supplied cap, which was impossible to tell how the topper would clip in and if the "ear tabs" would lay flat. I decided to keep it. I figured I could work with it. I voided my return requirements by brushing and playing with the hair. When I tried it on I noticed the side tabs were hard and stuck out. Not a natural look! I knew the huge hunks of hair associated with the tabs could be thinned. As time went on with several more tries, it only got worse! I don't like the fact a lace front topper has a clip right in the middle of the lace where I want a middle part. It shows! I was led to believe this topper was good for a true middle part. It would be fine if you went for a off set part. The side tabs are downright painful! There is no way I can ever pull this off. Too bad the color, fiber and hand-tied cap is ruined by clip placement and tabs. I tried putzing with the tabs so now it really looks awful. I will use it to practice thinning. Lesson learned.
