Sonata | Top Piece/ Hair Topper

I’ve been wearing wigs for a while, but this is my first topper. This one is just about perfect for me. The color , R44, steel grey with salt and pepper, matches my own color perfectly. I have thinning hair here and there around the top third of my head and this topper provides great coverage. The synthetic fibers have a slight curve to them, which can be emphasized (as in my photo) or minimized. I normally like a monofilament top ( didn’t find the Lyric until later) and don’t like permatease which Sonata has. I was thinking of getting it thinned and may still do so, but I’ve been playing with the style a little and am satisfied for now. I am finding that wearing a topper feels lighter and more natural than a wig and the fact that it’s clipped in makes me feel more secure during exercise classes.
